So this may seem small, but to me it was huge.
All my life i have HATED sports, that includes the sports in P.E.
Today we were playing football. And there is a LOT of kids (GUYS) that love it and can play properly. I of course am not one of them. I walked into the lockeroom with my mind telling me "Today is your day."
We did our regular fitness warmups, and went outside to play football.
I actually tried today, but the one time I had the ball, I ran it to make a touchdown. Feeling like I was amazing, i found out that because of the previous fumble, my touchdown didnt count. That pissed me off. Today was supposed to be MY day! My P.E teacher said it was bad, and the other players said it was bad. Words were exchanged, and i was BEYOND angry. The ONE time I actually TRY, like seriously.
Anyways.
My team was about 10 yards away from the opposite team's goal. If the other team threw the ball, they'd win. I stood infront of the QB named Conner. My 7th grade year Conner HATED me. we've slowly patched it.
He looked me in eyes and whispered, "Run."
He tossed me the ball, and I ran. And the other team didn't catch me! (Flag football)
I made a touchdown. We still lost, but in the end, i did something i have never done before. Conner Made me smile(:
